Prior to joining SLR Credit Solutions, Tarby held various roles in corporate lending and mergers and acquisitions advisory for Fleet Bank, Comerica Bank and Grant Thornton.

Murphy will play a role in working with deal teams to underwrite and manage new investments as well as to undertake portfolio management for existing investments. Prior to joining SLR Credit Solutions, he held positions in the asset-based and healthcare corporate lending groups at Wells Fargo Commercial Capital and Santander Bank.

Wells joined SLR Credit Solutions to source, originate and structure new secured debt financings focused on the Midwest and Florida. He has 16 years of experience in both the asset-based and recurring revenue software corporate lending markets from his career at Wells Fargo Capital Finance in both credit and business development.

“Joe is a seasoned business development professional and has strong asset-based lending experience and a well-developed network of referral sources to our organization. I am delighted to welcome him to our team and am confident that his expertise will lead to meaningful contributions to our organization” Cheryl Carner, senior managing director and head of originations at SLR Credit Solutions, said.

“These promotions and enhanced responsibilities are a reflection of the extensive expertise and dedication of our team members, demonstrating our commitment to rewarding exceptional performance as well as providing career development opportunities,” Michael Pizette, CEO of SLR Credit Solutions, said. “I am excited to continue working with these talented individuals and to welcome our new colleagues. Our employees are what enable us to execute on our objectives and deliver attractive risk adjusted returns.”

Editor’s Note: The original version of this article said incorrectly named who was promoted to group CFO for the special lending verticals. It has been corrected to reflect that Josh Franklin was promoted to the role. ABF Journal apologizes for the error.
