William “Bill” Geraghty will join Wilkinson Stekloff as a partner on June 1, 2026, and will launch the firm’s new Miami office, opening this summer.
A nationally recognized first chair trial lawyer, Geraghty brings more than 30 years of experience trying high-stakes cases to verdict in courts across the country.
“Bill is a truly gifted trial lawyer. Over and over, jurors have decided difficult cases in favor of his clients. I have seen first-hand how Bill earns the trust and confidence of jurors and judges through candid, compassionate and powerful advocacy,” Beth Wilkinson, founding partner of the firm, said. “I look forward to Bill joining my other partners and me in leading our clients’ most complex and challenging trials.”
Geraghty has led dozens of jury trials to verdict in some of the nation’s toughest jurisdictions. He brings significant experience defending tobacco, pharmaceutical, medical device and technology companies against compensatory and punitive damages claims in product liability litigation. His complex civil litigation practice also includes class actions and MDL proceedings involving mass tort and commercial disputes.

Prior to joining Wilkinson Stekloff, Geraghty was a partner at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, where he served as managing partner of the Miami office, co-chair of the product liability litigation practice and a member of the executive committee. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, and his B.A., cum laude, from Duke University.
