Configure Partners, a middle-market investment bank, acted as exclusive financing advisor to Industrial Opportunity Partners (IOP) in securing committed debt capital to support its acquisition of Raven Engineered Films, an innovator in developing and manufacturing lighter, thinner, stronger polymer film and sheeting solutions to help solve application and product challenges across the globe, from CNH Industrial.

“IOP is thrilled to have completed this transaction and we look forward to supporting the future growth and success of Raven EFD,” Chris Willis, managing director at IOP, said. “Our lending partners are important to us and will be instrumental to the plans we have for the company. Configure quickly understood the Raven EFD business and IOP’s desire for selecting financing partners that shared our high degree of enthusiasm for the investment. Under an expedited timeline, Configure helped us navigate the financing and delivered multiple solutions, ultimately providing us with the flexibility and speed to close that was required in this situation.”

“The IOP and Raven EFD partnership is really exciting,” Joseph Weissglass, managing director at Configure, said. “For a number of reasons, IOP is the perfect partner for Raven EFD and the carveout will unlock value. The future is very, very bright for the company and we are convinced that Raven EFD will expand on its legacy as the industry leader and usher in an exciting new era for the company. We are deeply appreciative of the partnership with IOP we look forward to tremendous success at Raven EFD.”
