CohnReznick launched its public finance and sustainability practice to help public sector, nonprofit and sustainability‑driven clients access capital more effectively, structure innovative finance solutions and advance sustainability goals in an increasingly complex funding environment.
Led by CohnReznick partner Ted Kowalsky, the practice brings together the firm’s public finance and sustainability advisory capabilities and will support a wide range of government needs, including capital structuring, climate risk analysis, regulatory and disclosure readiness, and sustainability‑linked financing.
“Public sector and sustainability‑focused clients are increasingly looking for blended solutions that combine public funding with tools like green bonds, C‑PACE and resilience financing,” Frank Banda, managing partner, government and public sector advisory leader at CohnReznick, said. “By integrating our public finance and sustainability teams, CohnReznick can more seamlessly help clients access higher‑value financing structures, attract impact and concessional capital, and deliver outcomes that meet both financial and sustainability objectives.”
Kowalsky said, “By aligning financing strategy with sustainability and resilience goals from the outset through our new integrated practice, CohnReznick advisors will be able to help clients access capital more effectively. Clients benefit from a single team that understands both the funding landscape and the expectations of stakeholders, investors and regulators.”
