On April 30, 2026, Aurora Management Partners was appointed as receiver to Limestone University in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina Spartanburg Division (Case # 7:26-cv-01274-DCC). Overseeing the University and its assets and operations are Laura Kendall, senior managing director, and Ben Pendleton, associate director.
In addition to current out-of-court restructurings, Aurora is currently appointed as federal receiver to Montgomery Transportation Group in Alabama and Besse Forest Products in Michigan as well as state receiver to All Nations Distillery in Kentucky and Notre Dame College in Ohio. Additionally, in court appointment, Aurora is serving as chief restructuring officer to Sailormen Popeye’s, liquidating trustee to Taronis Fuels and financial advisor to the unsecured creditors committee in the Eventide Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
