First Business Bank Expands Specialty Finance Leadership with Kristufek Appointment

Niamh Kristufek was named president of Specialty Finance at First Business Bank, bringing extensive experience in portfolio management and commercial lending. She will lead the bank’s specialty finance divisions, including accounts receivable financing, floorplan financing and SBA lending.

First Business Bank welcomed Niamh Kristufek to its parent company, First Business Financial Services, as president of Specialty Finance.

Kristufek brings extensive financial services experience to the role, providing strategic guidance and expertise to the bank’s accounts receivable financing, equipment financing, floorplan financing, and SBA lending teams.

Her career has included leadership positions at BMO U.S., where she served as head of U.S. Specialty Sales and head of U.S. Business Banking. With more than two decades in the industry, Kristufek has developed expertise in portfolio management, commercial lending and risk management, focusing on delivering client solutions while maintaining a balanced approach to risk assessment.

Kristufek holds an MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Lake Forest College. She serves on the board of directors for Envision Unlimited, a nonprofit organization that promotes choice, independence, and community integration for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chicago.
