Sallyport delivered a flexible working capital solution to help a specialty food manufacturer increase its production capacity and meet growing customer demand. Referred by a lending partner, the transaction provides the company with the working capital needed to manage increasing cash flow demands, strengthen its financing structure and support continued sales growth.

As sales continued to grow, the company faced increasing working capital demands associated with fulfilling customer orders. To support its momentum and maintain sufficient liquidity, the company needed a financing solution that could provide additional capital while working seamlessly with its existing financing arrangements.

Sallyport structured a flexible accounts receivable factoring facility designed to improve cash flow and provide the company with greater borrowing capacity. In addition to supporting day-to-day working capital needs, the facility will be used to pay off the company’s existing production finance line, enabling it to increase production capacity and better meet growing customer demand.

Through a referral from one of its production finance partners, Sallyport was able to deliver a solution tailored to the company’s needs. Sallyport’s ability to integrate with the company’s existing financing, combined with its flexible approach and lack of customer concentration limits, provided access to greater borrowing capacity than competing alternatives.

This customized financing structure positions the company to continue scaling operations while pursuing its long-term goal of becoming a nationally recognized brand in the food industry.

“The client’s management team is a qualified and experienced group. They bring a sense of humor to their marketing efforts that has proven effective in generating sales and connecting with their target consumer,” Patrick Zazueta, vice president of sales at Sallyport, said.

The customer added, “Patrick explained the benefits of Sallyport’s financing solutions and was helpful throughout the process. He answered our questions and made us comfortable with Sallyport’s ability to be our long-term and trusted growth capital partner.”
