Webster Bank expanded the roles of its regional presidents in Connecticut.

As regional president, Timothy D. In addition, as regional president, Michael L. O’Connor will continue to oversee the greater Waterbury, CT, market. Webster Bank also appointed Martin H. Anderson regional president for the Fairfield County market in Connecticut, including greater Stamford, CT, and Danbury, CT.

“Tim, Mike and Martin have many years of experience in banking, and they have built extensive relationships with customers and business and civic leaders throughout the bank’s footprint, which is crucial to success in this role,” Chris Motl, executive vice president and head of commercial banking at Webster Bank, said. “We congratulate Martin on his expanded role and look forward to him representing Webster in Fairfield County.”

A resident of Bethel, CT, Anderson joined Webster in 2009 and is a senior vice president in its middle market banking group. He has more than 25 years of experience in creating lending solutions for family-owned businesses and working with private equity sponsors to finance mergers and acquisitions, working capital and revenue generating assets.

Anderson joined Webster Bank’s other regional presidents, who serve across the bank’s Boston, Rhode Island/southeastern Massachusetts, New York City and Philadelphia markets.

In 2014, Bergstrom and O’Connor were named regional presidents for Greater Hartford, CT, and Greater Waterbury, CT, respectively.

A resident of Burlington, CT, Bergstrom joined Webster Bank in 1998 and is a senior vice president. He is currently responsible for business banking activities in Connecticut. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of business development, community outreach and relationship management for business and professional services clients.

A resident of Washington, CT, O’Connor joined Webster Bank in 2012 and is responsible for all aspects of the bank’s corporate real estate portfolio. He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate and construction and is retired from the United States Army after serving 26 years as an officer in the Reserves, National Guard and Active Army.
