Winston Taylor added Brook Mestre as a partner in the transactions department in Dallas. Mestre’s arrival further strengthens the firm’s local and global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity offerings.

Mestre brings two decades of experience advising public and private companies on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. He guides buyers and sellers through every stage of the deal lifecycle — from structuring and execution, through post-acquisition integration and restructuring. Mestre also represents clients on day-to-day governance and other corporate matters. His experience spreads across a wide range of industries, including technology, aerospace, healthcare, life sciences, consumer products, sports and entertainment, automotive and energy.

“Joining Winston Taylor was a natural next step in my career, given the firm’s market-leading capabilities in cross-border deal execution and strengths in Texas,” Mestre said. “The firm offers a truly transatlantic platform for complex transactions that will immediately benefit my clients. I am excited to join such an exceptional team, and I look forward to being a part of the firm’s continuing global success.”

Timothy Kincaid and Brad Vaiana, the firm’s transactions co-chairs, jointly added, “Brook’s understanding of industry-specific and cross-border M&A gives him a broad perspective on the market that will add value to clients leveraging our full suite of transactional service offerings. His deep knowledge and experience will be tremendously beneficial as clients navigate the legal, commercial and operational considerations that accompany the most multifaceted deals. We are thrilled to welcome Brook to the firm.”

Jordan Klein, the firm’s Dallas office managing partner, commented, “Texas remains one of the most active markets for business growth and deal activity in the country, and we’re thoughtfully growing our team to support clients at the center of that momentum. Brook is an outstanding addition to our Texas team and an exceptional resource for our clients globally.”
