HighVista Strategies, an employee-owned specialty alternative asset manager, is celebrating 20 years of pursuing alpha-driven investment strategies.
“Our investment compass centers around what we call ‘beautifully inefficient markets,’” André Perold, co-founder, partner and chief investment officer of HighVista, said. “These markets are structurally less competitive, require deep specialization to access and offer significant upside potential for those who can navigate them successfully.”
Over the past two decades, HighVista has grown to manage more than $11 billion of client capital. The team has expanded to 75 employees with expertise in its core investment verticals.
“We are thrilled to reach this milestone and appreciate the trust our clients and partners have placed in us,” Raphi Schorr, partner and deputy chief investment officer at HighVista, who joined the firm in 2004 shortly after its founding, said. “This achievement is a testament to our team’s dedication, expertise and focus on delivering results. As we look to the future, we remain committed to navigating the evolving landscape of alternative investments and continuing to deliver meaningful value to our clients.”
