Cascadia Capital, an investment bank serving middle market clients globally, acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Simon Pearce, a Vermont-based maker of handblown glass and handmade pottery, in its strategic partnership with SBJ Capital, a private investment firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

“This partnership is a pivotal step in expanding our reach, allowing more customers to experience our artisanal designs while preserving the spirit of our brand,” Jay Benson, CEO of Simon Pearce, said. “SBJ shares our passion for high-quality, handmade products and truly values the people and legacy that make Simon Pearce unique.”

“We are honored to partner with Simon, Jay, and their team to continue offering the company’s beautiful, handmade products to current and new customers,” Ben Landis, managing director at SBJ Capital, said. “Simon Pearce is a one-of-a-kind American brand admired for its heritage, authenticity, and exceptional craftsmanship.”

“Cascadia’s expertise and guidance throughout this process were invaluable,” Benson said. “They truly understood the essence of our brand and were critical in successfully completing our partnership with SBJ Capital, who is the ideal strategic partner for Simon Pearce. We couldn’t be more pleased with their support in achieving this milestone for our company.”

“Simon Pearce is an extraordinary brand with a deeply loyal following, a rich history, and significant growth potential,” William Susman, managing director at Cascadia capital, said. “It was a privilege to work with their team and to help bring this partnership to fruition. We’re excited to see Simon Pearce thrive with SBJ Capital’s support.”
