nFusion Capital promoted Melanie Guzman to executive vice president of factoring. In her new role, Guzman will spearhead the firm’s nationwide factoring growth strategy and oversee its international portfolio management team.

With nearly 20 years of experience in commercial finance, including five years as a key member of the nFusion Capital team, Guzman has established herself as a leader in risk mitigation and client relationship management. Her professional excellence was recognized by the Secured Finance Network (SFNet), which named her a recipient of the 2024 40 Under 40 Award.

“Melanie has been an integral part of nFusion Capital, and her promotion to executive vice president of factoring is a natural reflection of the leadership she already provides,” Jason Lippman, CEO of nFusion Capital, said. “With nearly two decades of experience in portfolio management and a reputation as a true standard bearer for industry best practices, Melanie is widely respected by her peers and colleagues alike. Her deep expertise and commitment to excellence make her the ideal leader to drive our factoring growth strategy forward and continue delivering exceptional value to our clients.”

Guzman holds the Certified Account Executive in Factoring (CAEF) designation from the International Factoring Association. In her elevated role, she will continue to mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of excellence while expanding the firm’s presence in the factoring marketplace.
