Lampert Defends Strategy, Still Strong on Sears

The Wall Street Journal reported Edward Lampert, who stepped down as Sears CEO this week but remains chairman of the board, still believes Sears can rise again after filing Chapter 11.

According to the Journal, Lampert told a group of nearly 1,000 Sears employees he hasn’t given up on restoring the iconic retailer.
