Gregory Chin joined global business advisor EisnerAmper as a partner in its transaction advisory services practice and the partner-in-charge of the cannabis and hemp group.

With 30 years of experience, Chin advises clients on buy- and sell-side financial due diligence, M&As and strategic transactions. His clients include private companies, strategic buyers and sellers, private equity groups, lenders, founder-led businesses, corporate development teams and strategic acquirers. He partners with clients to assess historical financial performance, identify key risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making throughout the transaction lifecycle.

He works across diverse industries, including manufacturing and distribution, private equity, professional services, hospitality, franchise, construction, automotive, sports and entertainment, and public companies.

Chin also brings considerable experience advising clients in the cannabis and hemp industry. He works with cannabis-related businesses, investors and stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, assess financial performance and navigate the industry’s evolving business environment.

Chin has an MS in finance from Boston College and a BS in accounting from Boston University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Association for Corporate Growth, Exit Planning Exchange and Alliance of M&A Advisors.

“As the rate of transactions increases, so does their complexity. We’re fortunate to have a practitioner of Greg’s caliber who has successfully navigated this space, among numerous industries, for decades,” Robert Esposito, national practice leader for EisnerAmper’s transaction advisory services, said. “We warmly welcome Greg to the team and know our clients will benefit greatly.”
