CHICAGO — CIBC announced the addition of Ben Colley as Managing Director, Business Development Officer in its Asset-Based Lending (ABL) team. With over 12 years of asset-based lending experience in both originations and underwriting, he will lead new deal originations across the Southeast region which includes Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas. He will also work to expand the bank’s referral source network, which includes private equity groups, investment banks, turnaround consultants, and direct prospecting.

“We are pleased to add Ben Colley to our East Region team,” said Brandon Barr, ABL Group Head. “Ben brings deep industry knowledge, a robust network, and a strong commitment to supporting clients, prospects and referral sources.
