B. Riley Securities Strengthens TMT Practice with Strategic Hires in Banking and Research

Investment bank adds senior talent with Matthew Doull joining investment banking while Drew Crum and Erik Suppiger bolster equity research coverage across technology, media and entertainment sectors.

LOS ANGELES (PRNewswire) — B. Riley Securities Holdings, Inc. (“B. Riley Securities,” “BRS” or the “Company”), a leading middle market investment bank, continues to strengthen its platform with key hires across its TMT investment banking and research practice.

Matthew Doull joins as Senior Managing Director with over two decades of experience advising global internet, digital media and innovative technology companies. Prior to joining BRS, Matthew was a Managing Director at Wedbush Securities where he served as co-Head of Technology Investment Banking. Prior to that, he was Managing Director, Head of Internet and Digital Media and co-Head of Technology Investment Banking at BDA Partners. Matthew was also a co-founder of Pluribus Capital and a senior analyst at SAC Capital Management. Matthew earned a B.A. from Brown University.

Drew Crum joins as Managing Director with nearly 25 years of experience as a sell-side analyst across technology, media and entertainment sectors. Prior to BRS, he was a Managing Director at Stifel where he covered video games, toys, media and entertainment, publishing and education. Drew earned a B.S. from Bowling Green State University and an MBA and Masters of Accountancy from Case Western Reserve University.

Erik Suppiger joins as Managing Director with deep experience covering cybersecurity and enterprise software. Prior to joining BRS, Erik was a Managing Director and equity research analyst at Citizens JMP. Prior to Citizens JMP, he was a Managing Director and research analyst at Signal Hill Capital and prior to that, he was a Managing Director and research analyst at Pacific Growth Equities. Erik was also previously a research analyst at J.P. Morgan and began his career as an associate at the Deutsche Bank DMG Technology Group and Hambrecht & Quist. He earned a B.S. in business administration from the Boston University School of Management.
