The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon.com is speaking with major banks, including JPMorgan, about creating a checking-account-like platform for its customers.
According to the Journal, the plan is in early stages, but Amazon anticipates the product will appeal to millennials and other customers without bank accounts.
