PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes Roberston as Vice President, Relationship Manager in San Antonio

In his new role, Daniel Robertson will focus on developing and managing commercial banking relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions to businesses across the San Antonio market.

PlainsCapital Bank added Daniel Robertson as vice president, relationship manager. He is based at the Bank’s Stone Oak branch in San Antonio.

In his new role, Robertson will focus on developing and managing commercial banking relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions to businesses across the San Antonio market.

“Daniel brings a strong track record of relationship management and credit expertise, along with a deep understanding of the San Antonio business community,” Travis Edlund, San Antonio region chair at PlainsCapital Bank, said. “He will be a valuable addition to our team as we continue to expand in this market.”

A San Antonio native, Robertson brings seven years of experience in commercial banking. Most recently, he served as vice president, commercial banker at Truist. Prior to that, he held various commercial banking roles in San Antonio, including assistant vice president, commercial loan officer at PlainsCapital Bank. He also served as a portfolio manager and senior analyst at Susser Bank and held relationship manager and credit analyst positions at Cadence Bank.

“I’m excited to return to PlainsCapital Bank and be part of a Texas-based bank that’s deeply committed to the communities it serves,” Robertson said. “I look forward to connecting with local businesses and building lasting partnerships across San Antonio.”

Robertson earned a bachelor of business administration from Baylor University and a master of business administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
