SouthStar Capital closed a $750,000 purchase order financing facility for an Atlanta-based commercial lighting distributor serving contractors, municipalities, educational institutions and commercial customers throughout the Southeast.

The growing company required additional working capital to support larger project opportunities that exceeded its existing supplier credit capacity. SouthStar Capital structured a customized financing solution designed to provide the liquidity needed to purchase materials, fulfill customer orders and maintain steady cash flow as the business continues to expand.

The facility combines invoice factoring and purchase order financing, providing the client with a flexible working capital solution to support future growth.

“Growing businesses often outpace traditional credit limits with suppliers, creating cash flow challenges even when demand is strong,” Michael Haddad, president of SouthStar Capital, said. “Our customized financing solutions help companies bridge that gap, allowing them to take on larger opportunities while preserving the working capital needed to operate and grow.”
