Polsinelli added Matthew S. Miller as a shareholder in the firm’s Nashville office and Muthuramanan “Ramana” Rameswaran as a shareholder in Dallas.

Miller represents health care organizations, private equity investors and growth-focused companies in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments and strategic reorganizations. His practice focuses on sophisticated transactions involving provider platforms, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, value-based care businesses and other health care services organizations.
Rameswaran advises health care organizations, investors and provider platforms on the regulatory and transactional issues that shape strategic growth, alignment and operational integration. Drawing on experience inside hospital systems and the pharmaceutical industry, he counsels physician groups, hospitals, health systems and private equity-backed health care organizations on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliation models and complex organizational structures.

In addition to his transactional practice, Miller also advises clients on the regulatory and operational considerations that can affect deal execution in the health care industry, including compliance, governance and strategic growth matters. He also counsels private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on investment transactions, venture financings and other corporate matters.

Miller is also an active writer and speaker on legal and business issues affecting the health care industry and broader business community. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.S. from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
