Howard Levkowitz, co-founder of Tennenbaum Capital and former Chairman of US Private Capital at BlackRock, has joined Gracie Point as Non-Executive Chair. Howard brings decades of expertise in structured finance, asset-backed securities, and specialty finance to Gracie Point as the firm aims to scale its business, strengthen governance, and expand its securitization and financing strategies.
In addition to co-founding Tennenbaum Capital, which grew into a leading alternative asset management firm that was acquired by BlackRock in 2018, Howard is the founder of Signal Hill Holdings, LLC, which provides growth capital to private and public companies, and managing partner of real estate investment firm Penn Properties LLC.
