Assembled Brands announced a new credit facility with Supergut, a gut-health brand that supports whole-body wellness and longevity with fiber-based solutions. The facility is designed to bolster Supergut’s mission to supercharge health through a focus on the gut microbiome.
This partnership delivers the flexible, non-dilutive capital Supergut needs to secure inventory and drive its omnichannel expansion, securing 10,000 incremental doors in 2025.
Supergut is a gut-health game changer backed by science and powered by superfoods. Their products contain a unique blend of clinically studied ingredients, including resistant starch from green banana, Solnul, Sunfiber and soluble vegetable fiber. These superfood ingredients work together to support digestion, blood sugar balance, metabolism, skin health and overall well-being.
Securing strong financial support from Full Frame Partners and landing one of the most proven operators in the health and wellness space, Tracey Warner Halama, former CEO of Vital Proteins, to lead the helm as CEO, Supergut boasts a significant two-year CAGR and is positioned to redefine both digestive health and wellness with accessible solutions that deliver real results.
The capital facility will directly support Supergut’s strategic focus on balancing its existing strong DTC presence with significant growth in both wholesale and Amazon channels by the end of 2025.
“This isn’t merely capital; it’s rocket fuel for Supergut’s mission. We built this facility to unlock high advance rates against their Amazon inventory, a critical asset most lenders can’t lend against, giving them a definitive edge for accelerated market dominance,” says Kunal Kohli, managing director, head of Revenue at Assembled Brands.
The facility is structured as a founder-first working capital line with high advance rates. This ensures the Supergut team retains full operational control through clear, simple terms, including no lockboxes, no ownership dilution and no personal guarantees.
“The team at Assembled Brands truly understands the visionary scale we’re pursuing. Their flexible capital line gives us the freedom to accelerate our growth plans and cement Supergut as the global leader in metabolic health,” said Bill Blankemeier, CFO of Supergut.
