Pravati Capital, a litigation finance firm, added three professionals to its leadership team.
Joining Pravati Capital are Kris Kjolberg as managing director and head of capital strategy, Glenn Hill as managing director and Garrett Dowling, who has been named to the firm’s new role as chief compliance officer. Together, they bring decades of deep experience across institutional capital, business development, legal expertise and regulatory compliance.
“As litigation finance continues to emerge as an essential alternative investment class, attracting top talent is critical to our growth strategy,” Alexander Chucri, founder and CEO of Pravati Capital, said. “Kris, Glenn and Garrett each bring a unique set of skills and proven track records in their respective fields, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to Pravati’s seasoned team.”
As managing director and head of capital strategy, Kjolberg oversees allocator engagement, fund positioning and strategic partnership development, driving multi-channel outreach across family offices and independent registered investment advisors (RIAs). He plays a central role in scaling Pravati’s litigation finance platform and evergreen fund initiatives.
Prior to joining Pravati, Kjolberg was partner at NAVCAPital Group, where he consulted RIAs, broker-dealers and other organizations on scalability, risk management and operational efficiencies. As regional director for BlackRock’s global wealth management channel, Kjolberg consistently ranked in the top quartile for mutual fund market share. Kjolberg’s expertise also includes leadership roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and at Franklin Templeton Investments.
As managing director, Hill leverages his extensive institutional sales experience, driving growth across institutional investors, family offices and the RIA community. Prior to Pravati, he served as director of global distribution at Barrow Hanley. There, he focused on the insurance, public, corporate, endowment, intermediary and family office/high-net-worth segments.
As senior vice president and director of insurance solutions at Bright Sphere Investment Group, he led sales of its multi-product offering across equity, fixed income and alternative strategies. Hill’s breadth of institutional sales leadership includes positions at McDonnell Investments, GE Asset Management and Standish Mellon Asset Management.
As chief compliance officer (CCO), Dowling oversees Pravati’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to SEC regulations, regulatory filings and internal policy standards. He brings expanded operations experience along with oversight of Pravati’s accounting and finance functions to his new role. Upon joining Pravati in 2022, as vice president, investment operations, he focused on investor relations and raising capital; in this role, he took on broader responsibilities across operations, compliance and strategy, helping strengthen Pravati’s platform for long-term growth.
Dowling began his career in litigation finance at Virage Capital Management, where he served as senior operations analyst. There, he was responsible for accounting, financial analysis, reporting and operations for the firm’s private credit strategy. This role allowed him to gain direct exposure to regulatory reporting, audits and policy creation.
