LendingClub hired technology veteran Bahman Koohestani as the company’s new chief technology officer. Koohestani will report directly to CEO Scott Sanborn.

Koohestani most recently served as CTO of Clarivate Analytics, leading technology innovation and delivery for more than three years. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and CTO of shopping site NexTag, where he managed all aspects of the technology platform and drove product strategy. Koohestani also served as global vice president at PayPal, leading global consumer and merchant product development. Additional leadership roles include chief information officer and chief technology officer at Orbitz Worldwide.
