Crestline Investors named Chris Semple a partner of the firm.
Semple joined Crestline in 2011 as director and associate portfolio manager and is a member of the Opportunistic and Private Credit Strategies team.
“Chris has been instrumental in expanding these strategies, which have grown dramatically and now employ 17 people in the U.S. and five in Europe. We are delighted to have Chris as a member of the partnership,” said Douglas Bratton, managing partner and chief investment officer for Crestline.

Before joining Crestline, Semple worked for Goldman Sachs as a vice president in the Special Situations Group. Before that, he was with TQA Investors.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, Crestline Investors specializes in credit and opportunistic investments, including financing and restructuring solutions for mature private equity funds.
