eCapital, an AI-powered fintech company building the next generation of specialty finance, added five senior business development leaders, bringing decades of collective experience across commercial lending, asset-based lending, receivables finance, inventory finance, strategic partnerships and specialized working capital solutions.

Joining the organization are Terence S. Dougherty, managing director, business development; Brittany Downs, SVP, business development officer; Shawn Parnham, SVP, business development officer; Tommy Russo, senior director, enterprise sales; and Kyle Wilson, senior director, enterprise sales.

Collectively, they bring senior leadership credentials from leading financing institutions across North America, including eCapital, Northwestern Mutual, InBank, Fortis Bank, Hitachi Capital Canada, BDC and BMO. Their backgrounds span direct originations, portfolio management, underwriting, relationship management, supply chain finance, receivables financing, inventory financing and asset-based lending solutions for middle-market companies across North America.

“This group’s collective experience is significant,” Steve Silver, head of sales, ABL at eCapital, said. “They have managed complex credit arrangements, developed strategic partnerships and supported businesses through a wide range of growth and financing needs. Their capabilities and market knowledge will help us continue delivering the flexibility, responsiveness and specialized solutions our clients expect from eCapital.”
