Alvarez & Marsal has expanded its Healthcare Compliance Advisory services with the appointment of Colleen Curran as managing director and Mary Findley as senior director.

Curran will lead A&M’s Healthcare Compliance Advisory practice.

“Today’s healthcare organizations operate in a complex and continually evolving regulatory environment. Extensive government scrutiny will continue to be the norm making non-compliance a significant financial, operational and brand risk. It is more important than ever for our healthcare clients to make compliance a strategic priority and an integral part of business operations,” said Martin McGahan, managing director and head of the firm’s Healthcare Industry Group.

“Colleen and Mary are both seasoned compliance leaders who bring extensive compliance experience and proven track records for helping clients successfully navigate an evolving compliance environment.”_x000D_

Curran has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on regulatory, compliance and operational matters in the healthcare and life sciences industry. She is an attorney and brings expert knowledge of leading compliance practices, regulations and guidelines impacting healthcare clients. She has served as an advisor to senior leadership on a wide range of compliance, business operations and risk issues and is known for her expertise in compliance programs, contracting, credentialing and clinical research. Curran most recently worked at Deloitte where she helped healthcare and life science clients with regulatory compliance, strategy and operations.

Findley has 30 years of healthcare experience with nearly 20 years as a chief compliance officer. She has worked closely with governing boards and senior management to develop and operate comprehensive and effective compliance and ethics programs within complex healthcare environments. Most recently, she served as the senior vice president and chief compliance and ethics officer at Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas. Prior to Parkland, Findley was the vice president and chief compliance officer at Baylor Health Care System (now Baylor Scott and White Health) in Dallas/Ft. Worth.
