Laurence Sax joined Getzler Henrich & Associates as a managing director in the firm’s Boston office.

Sax has more than 30 years of experience providing clients with corporate turnaround, operational and financial restructuring, M&A and bankruptcy services. He has served as CFO, COO and CRO for numerous companies. Addressing liquidity issues, developing cost reduction plans, implementing process improvements and improving profitability, he has worked across multiple industries, including fashion and apparel, retail, media, infrastructure, food, corporate real estate and consumer products.

“We are pleased to welcome Larry to Getzler Henrich,” Joel I. Getzler, co-chairman of Getzler Henrich, said. “He brings an impressive and diverse background in finance, accounting, asset appraisal and disposition, operational improvement, debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, capital structuring, and equity financing solutions that will be invaluable to our clients.”

“Boston is an important and growing market for Getzler Henrich,” William H. Henrich, co-chairman of Getzler Henrich, said. “As a distinguished turnaround and operations improvement leader well-entrenched in the Boston market, we are thrilled to add Larry to our team. With his depth of knowledge and broad network of relationships — both in Boston and across the U.S. — he will significantly help grow our services to meet the needs of our expanding client base.”

Sax previously served as senior managing director at Accordion, chief operating officer and senior managing director at Gordon Brothers in Boston, senior director for turnaround and restructuring consulting and interim management at Alvarez & Marsal in Boston and New York City, and managing director of turnaround and restructuring consulting and interim management at NHB Advisors in Boston. He was also founder, president and owner of the Cap Factory.
