NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Winston & Strawn announced today the addition of Andrew Jacobs to the firm’s New York office. He joins the firm’s Transactions Department as a partner in the Finance Practice.

Andrew focuses his practice on advising leading investment banking firms and commercial banks in public and private financing transactions, including secured and unsecured debt offerings and leveraged buyouts. He has a broad range of financing experience in both domestic and cross-border transactions and has practiced in a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, media and communications, food services, gaming, retail, manufacturing, and technology.

“Winston’s distinguished reputation in leveraged finance aligns directly with my practice, and I’m excited to join its impressive bench of lawyers,” said Andrew.

“Andrew has a wealth of experience and deep relationships with top-tier institutional clients,” said Krishnan Padmanabhan, New York office managing partner. “He is a welcome addition who will strengthen the leveraged finance group and complement the firm’s strengths and client base.”

“Andrew’s extensive experience in large-cap leveraged finance, syndicated lending and private credit further advances our abilities to guide clients who are navigating this evolving landscape,” said Mats Carlston, co-chair of Winston’s Finance Practice. “He adds considerable depth to our finance practice as we continue to broaden our leveraged finance offerings in loans and bonds.”
