US Capital Global has appointed Erick G. Schenkhuizen as vice president at its Newport Beach office, expanding the firm’s presence on the West Coast and strengthening its Southern California operations.

With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Schenkhuizen will lead efforts to deliver tailored debt and equity financing for middle-market businesses, as well as investment and wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and independent advisors.

“US Capital Global is undergoing impressive growth both nationally and internationally, while expanding into new verticals,” Schenkhuizen said. “I’m excited to support the group’s Newport Beach office and contribute to its continued success.”

Prior to joining US Capital Global, Schenkhuizen held leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, LPL Financial, and within the independent RIA space. He specializes in alternative investments and tax-advantaged strategies, including private equity, venture capital, Qualified Opportunity Zones, and Section 1202 investments.

“His depth of experience in wealth management and private market finance positions him to play a key role in our strategic growth across Southern California and beyond,” said Jeffrey Sweeney, chairman and CEO of US Capital Global.

Headquartered in San Francisco, US Capital Global provides investment banking, asset management, and corporate finance services to middle-market clients. The firm has offices in New York, Miami, London, Dubai, and other key financial hubs.
