Tarter Krinsky & Drogin expanded its healthcare and pharmacy practice with Steve Polyakov, who rejoins the firm as partner and chair of the practice. Polyakov brings a wealth of experience and a forward-thinking approach to advising clients in the highly regulated and rapidly evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

With a background that spans transactional, regulatory and litigation matters, Polyakov is uniquely positioned to guide healthcare providers, pharmacy owners and medical practices through every stage of their business life cycle. He is adept at helping clients navigate complex regulatory environments, manage risk and seize growth opportunities—from business formation and compliance to mergers and acquisitions, Medicare and Medicaid audits, managed care contracting, HIPAA compliance, employment contracts and commercial litigation.

“We are thrilled to welcome back Steve as chair of our healthcare and pharmacy practice,” Alan Tarter, managing partner of Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, said. “His deep expertise and entrepreneurial spirit will be invaluable to our clients as they face the dynamic challenges and opportunities within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Steve’s leadership further strengthens our ability to deliver innovative, practical solutions in this critical sector.”

“I am thrilled to rejoin Tarter Krinsky & Drogin and lead the healthcare and pharmacy practice,” Polyakov said. “The healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape is transforming at an unprecedented pace, and I look forward to partnering with our clients to help them navigate regulatory complexities, minimize risk and maximize their business potential. Together, we will continue to build a practice that is responsive, strategic and results-driven.”
