B. Riley Securities, a middle-market investment bank and subsidiary of B. Riley Financial, added Michael Devitt as a managing director based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
B. Riley Securities will host its 2023 Consumer Conference in New York on Sept. 14. The conference will highlight companies from a range of consumer verticals who will share their stories with institutional investors.
John Stack joined B. Riley Securities, a subsidiary of B. Riley Financial, as senior managing director of aerospace and defense (A&D) investment banking. Stack joined B. Riley from Canaccord Genuity, where he led the firm’s U.S. A&D investment banking team.
B. Riley Securities hired Robert C. Arnold as senior managing director of investment banking and Anna Glaessgen and Jeff Lick as senior research analysts within its equity research division.
B. Riley Securities, an investment bank and subsidiary of B. Riley Financial, added a team of nine healthcare and life sciences professionals from Huron Transaction Advisory, including James Metcalf and Benjamin Matz.
Tim Sullivan joined B. Riley Financial as head of fixed income with B. Riley Securities. Andy Moore, CEO of B. Riley Securities, will be leading the expansion of the firm’s fixed income division in coordination with Sullivan.
Investment bank B. Riley FBR expanded its investment banking division with the addition of Chris Allick, Todd Blankfort, Paul Clausing and David Suddendorf.
B. Riley promoted Andy Moore to president, where he will be responsible for the operations of the firm’s brokerage business. The firm also hired Jon Merriman as senior managing director and head of Capital Markets.
