SouthStar Capital, a private direct lender and specialty finance company, closed a $1.5 million invoice factoring facility for a Tennessee-based site work, structural concrete and plumbing contractor.

Led by an owner with more than a decade of industry experience, the company has experienced significant growth, with revenue increasing in 2024 and again in 2025. With a strong contracted backlog and continued growth projected for 2026, the business needed additional working capital to support its expanding operations.

SouthStar structured a $1.5 million invoice factoring facility to provide reliable access to working capital as the company takes on new projects. The facility will help support payroll, vendors and day-to-day operating expenses while providing greater financial flexibility.

“This company has built an impressive project pipeline and needed a financing solution that could keep pace with its continued growth,” Scott Norris, vice president at SouthStar Capital, said. “We are pleased to provide the working capital needed to support its operations and help the business confidently pursue new opportunities.”

With the facility in place, the contractor is positioned to manage continued growth and pursue new opportunities across its site work, concrete, plumbing and utility operations.
