SLR Business Credit (SLRBC) funded two new senior secured credit facilities for Southern Transport and Southern Lifting and Hoisting (Southern Group), a company that provides transportation of specialized heavy equipment through its southern transport company and crane, hauling, storage and logistics services through its lifting and hoisting company.

The tailored financing solution offers the company enhanced liquidity and financial flexibility under an ABL construct to accommodate the company’s growth trajectory.

“The entire process was seamless, efficient, and transparent, and I am pleased with the support and professionalism demonstrated throughout by the SLR team,” Anthony Zaccari, chief financial officer at Southern Group, said. “I also greatly value the open access to all levels of management, which allowed for clear communication and swift resolution of any questions or concerns. The terms were clearly outlined, and the team’s dedication to ensuring a smooth experience made the process even more rewarding. I look forward to continuing our relationship in the future and we at Southern are grateful for the partnership.”

“We are thrilled to support Southern Group and begin what we believe to be the beginning of a long-standing partnership,” Erica Galano, principal at SLR Capital Partners, said. “Thomas and Jonathan Ivy along with the rest of the management team have built an impressive business that endures heavy working capital needs. As a result, SLRBC was able to customize a solution to provide the company with covenant flexibility allowing them to scale both operationally and geographically.”
