The direct lending business of Silver Point Capital, a global company in credit investing, led a $650 million term loan financing supporting the acquisition of C&D Technologies and Trojan Battery by Stryten Energy. Silver Point led the syndication of the financing to existing and new lenders.
“Silver Point is pleased to continue our partnership with Stryten and Atlas by leading this financing,” Anthony DiNello, head of direct lending at Silver Point Capital, said. “This combination creates one of North America’s most comprehensive battery manufacturing and energy storage portfolios, and we are proud to provide a customized solution that supports the combined company’s next chapter of growth and enhances its ability to serve customers across critical markets.”
Silver Point has served as a lender to Stryten since leading its $400 million financing in 2024.
Stryten is a portfolio company of Atlas, and C&D Trojan was a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners. Stryten completed the acquisition on Oct. 1, 2026.
