SierraConstellation has promoted Philip Kaestle to senior director. He will relocate to Seattle as the firm establishes a presence in the Northwest U.S. market.

“I’m gratified by this vote of confidence from Larry and the SCP team,” said Kaestle. “I’ve had the privilege to learn from everyone at SCP through our work on so many challenging and important assignments. I’m also excited to return to Seattle, the place where I grew up, to help SCP expand its presence in the Northwest market. I’m confident we’ll find opportunities in this region for our growing firm and I’m looking forward to diving in.”

Since joining SCP in October 2015, Kaestle has distinguished himself as a skilled turnaround manager, and developed deep experience in the various elements of restructuring. He has taken a leading role as an interim CFO on a number of high-stakes matters, including serving as the Interim President and CFO to a manufacturing company, where he rebuilt the management and finance teams and significantly reduced operating expenses through a series of strategic initiatives.

Before joining SCP, Kaestle spent four years at OneWest Bank in various functions where he was responsible for structuring, underwriting and executing new senior debt transactions companies and managing and liquidating assets. Earlier in his career, he worked in the investment arm of Arch Bay Capital and as an investment banking analyst at Imperial Capital.

“We’re very proud of Phil and all he has accomplished since joining SCP, and his promotion is well-deserved,” said SCP Founder and CEO Larry Perkins. “As the market and our clients have begun to ask for deeper capabilities, Phil has risen to the occasion, and has grown into an interim manager that can take on the toughest challenges that our clients can throw at us. Phil exemplifies how dedication and commitment to your craft here can elevate you to leadership positions quickly.”

SierraConstellation Partners is a national interim management and advisory firm headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Houston and Boston.
