Sharon Cobb
Head of Operations and Administration
Regions Business Capital

Banking has been a passion for Sharon Cobb throughout her career, as she relishes the opportunity to help people and organizations find solutions to meet their financial goals or keep their business operations moving forward. Her passion, coupled with the strong culture of support, respect and trust at Regions Bank, is why she continues to work in banking year after year.

Throughout her nearly 40-year career in banking, Cobb has supported a variety of lines of business, including asset-based lending for the last 16 years. She joined Regions Business Capital, the financing arm of Regions Bank for middle-market firms, large corporations and private equity sponsors, in January of 2008.

In her current role as head of operations and administration, Cobb supports the Regions Business Capital team by providing financial analysis and reporting, system support and training and support to teams outside of Regions Business Capital on various implementation projects and presentations. She also serves as a problem-solver for the team, helping answer questions and providing solutions to issues her colleagues experience.

Customer support is at the heart of Cobb’s role, and she is helping Regions Bank’s bankers and teams deepen relationships with customers and build financing solutions to meet their needs. Her ability to work collaboratively with associates and leaders, as well as with a variety of partners, has reinforced Regions Business Capital’s reputation as a highly responsible and responsive source, providing ABL options that meet the bank’s business clients’ needs.

Cobb’s goals align with Regions Bank’s mission to make life better in the communities the bank serves. With such a philosophy at the forefront, Cobb’s specific future goals include helping associates navigate through issues and opportunities that lie ahead so the bank can stay focused on the business of ABL and keep clients moving forward.
