SC&H Expands National Presence with New Chicago Office

SC&H, a national consulting and financial services firm, opened its new office in Chicago. This expansion is SC&H’s first physical presence outside the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Chicago office, located in the West Loop at 500 West Madison St, Suite 1000, will be led by Mike Fixler, who joined SC&H Capital, the firm’s investment banking practice, as managing director earlier this year. Fixler brings over 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and restructuring processes to the local business community.

“We are excited about this regional expansion into Chicago, a market that values strong, long-term relationships,” Pritpal Kalsi, CEO of SC&H, said. “By establishing a presence here, we’re bringing our client-centric approach to a new audience. Chicago businesses will benefit from the personalized attention that has been key to SC&H’s success, combined with the capabilities and reach of a national firm. Our team is dedicated to providing tailored solutions that address every stage of the business lifecycle.”

In Chicago, SC&H will focus on expanding its capabilities in mergers and acquisitions, debt capital markets and special situations.

“Chicago’s business landscape is diverse and dynamic,” Fixler said. “We regularly interact with the network of lawyers, lenders, financial advisors, consultants and investors that make up the Chicago business community, and our local office provides an efficient way to deliver hands-on, personalized service. Bringing together the reputation and experience of SC&H Capital’s 25 Mid-Atlantic-based investment bankers with our proven track record of successful middle-market transactions in the Midwest results in a best-in-class investment bank positioned for further market-share growth.”

SC&H’s Chicago office plans to expand its team and capabilities in the coming months, serving as a hub for the firm’s Midwest operations.
