Roach Joins Pinnacle Bank as Executive Vice President, Senior Lending Officer

Mark Roach will partner with the regional presidents and relationship managers in support of their efforts to service existing lending clients as well as lead the evaluation of new lending opportunities.

Pinnacle Bank, headquartered in Gilroy, CA, appointed Mark Roach as executive vice president, senior lending officer.

“We are very excited to have Mark Roach join Pinnacle Bank as a senior lending officer and look forward to his contributions to the team and our clients,” Cliff Dennett, executive vice president and chief credit officer of Pinnacle Bank, said.

Roach has professionally served the Silicon Valley market for many years and has deep roots in community banking. Roach will partner with the regional presidents and relationship managers in support of their efforts to service existing lending clients as well as lead the evaluation of new lending opportunities.

“I am pleased that Mr. Roach has chosen to join Pinnacle Bank. He adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to our continued mission to grow the bank,” Jeffrey D. Payne, president and CEO of the bank, said. “Mark will work closely with our relationship managers to increase efficiency in processing loan requests, which will benefit not only our team of bankers but our clients as well.”

Susan K. Black, chairman of the board of directors for Pinnacle Bank, said, “I had the opportunity to work with Mark, and he is an all-around outstanding community banker. We are very pleased to be adding his talent to our team of top-notch bankers.”

Roach has over 30 years of banking experience in commercial lending and credit risk management. He has proven expertise in evaluating complex credit requests, managing largescale portfolios and ensuring rigorous adherence to regulatory and bank policies. Before joining Pinnacle Bank, Roach was the chief banking officer for Community Bank of the Bay. Roach will be based out of the bank’s Campbell office and report directly to Dennett.

“I am thrilled to join the talented team at Pinnacle Bank,” Roach said. “I look forward to expanding our relationship with existing clients while actively working with the team to grow the bank’s loan portfolio.”
