Quasar Capital Partners has promoted Margaret “Marg” Keihani to senior collateral analyst, recognizing her continued growth at the firm and expanding role within Quasar’s asset-based lending portfolio.
Keihani joined Quasar in 2024 as a collateral analyst, working primarily on the factoring side of the business. As Quasar’s ABL portfolio has grown, so has her role, with Keihani taking on increasing responsibility and applying the experience she has built across both factoring and asset-based lending.
“Marg has consistently demonstrated the initiative, accountability and attention to detail that make her an exceptional member of our team,” John Center, partner at Quasar Capital, said. “She is a true self-starter who takes ownership of her responsibilities, anticipates what needs to be done and follows through without needing direction or reminders. This promotion is a natural next step that recognizes the value she brings to the team and her readiness to take on greater responsibility.”
As senior collateral analyst, Keihani will assume greater responsibility for collateral analysis, borrowing base reporting and the accuracy and integrity of client collateral. Her role will also support the processes and operational discipline necessary as Quasar continues to scale its ABL portfolio.
“What captures Marg at her best isn’t necessarily one particular moment. It’s the consistency she brings every day,” Center said. “When you give Marg responsibility, you have confidence that she will take ownership of it and see it through.”
For Keihani, that attention to detail is coupled with a relationship-driven approach to commercial finance. She has described clients as “people, not numbers” and believes that understanding and supporting the people behind a business is an important part of helping them succeed.
“Marg is someone who consistently proves herself through her actions,” Center said. “I’m excited to see her build on the foundation she developed in factoring, deepen her expertise in ABL, and take on greater responsibility as our portfolio grows. I look forward to seeing how far she can go at Quasar.”
