PlainsCapital Bank welcomed Kameron Richards, Esq. in The Private Bank at PlainsCapital as senior vice president, wealth management market manager for the Lubbock Region. He will be based at the bank’s 50th and University location in Lubbock.

In this role, Richards will lead The Private Bank’s wealth management strategy in Lubbock. He will oversee a team that delivers personalized trust, investment and estate planning services to individuals, families and organizations. His responsibilities include driving business growth, encouraging collaboration across departments and upholding the standards of client service and fiduciary oversight.

“Kameron brings a unique blend of legal expertise and wealth management experience that will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our team,” Tom Neville, head of private banking and wealth management at PlainsCapital Bank, said. “His thoughtful approach to estate and tax planning, along with his strong understanding of fiduciary risk, aligns perfectly with our commitment to tailored, high-touch service.”

Richards joins PlainsCapital from Herring Bank, where he most recently served as senior trust officer. During his five-year tenure there, he held several leadership roles, including vice president of corporate trust, and specialized in corporate trust and wealth management. Prior to that, he practiced as a tax and estate planning attorney at Neil Deininger.

Richards earned a bachelor of business administration, magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2019.
