Joey Myers rejoined PlainsCapital Bank as senior vice president, senior relationship manager. He is based at the bank’s location at The Star in Frisco.

Myers brings more than 19 years of banking experience, with a strong background in commercial lending and portfolio management in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. In his role, he will focus on strengthening client relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions across PlainsCapital’s North Texas market.

“Joey is a proven relationship banker with deep roots in DFW and a track record of delivering results,” Thomas Ricks, Dallas region chair at PlainsCapital Bank, said. “We are excited to welcome him back. His experience, client-first mindset and strong network will be valuable as we continue to grow in the Frisco market and beyond.”

Myers previously served as vice president and commercial loan officer at PlainsCapital Bank from 2017 to 2021, where he managed a diverse portfolio of commercial and real estate relationships and consistently delivered strong loan production results. Most recently, he held relationship management roles at Bank of America and Bank of Texas, where he built and managed multimillion-dollar loan portfolios and served a wide range of clients, including business owners, executives and investors across multiple industries.

“I’m excited to return to PlainsCapital Bank and be part of a team that shares my commitment to exceptional service,” Myers said. “PlainsCapital’s strong Texas roots and local presence make a real difference for clients, and I look forward to serving businesses in Frisco and throughout DFW.”

A Dallas-area resident for more than 40 years, Myers holds a bachelor of business administration in finance from the University of Oklahoma.
