Perkins Joins CohnReznick as Partner & Leader of New Sage Intacct Advisory Practice

Melissa Perkins provides Sage Intacct advisory services to help organizations streamline financial reporting and boost efficiency.

CohnReznick, a professional services firm, added Melissa Perkins as a partner in the firm’s expanding advisory practice. Based in the Boston area, she joins as a member of the enterprise applications team, where she will lead the launch of the firm’s Sage Intacct service line. Sage Intacct is a cloud financial management platform that uses AI and automation to streamline core finance processes, improve visibility and integrate with other business systems, including payroll, HR and planning.

Perkins comes to CohnReznick with more than 15 years of experience in ERP advisory, software selection, implementation and optimization. Her expertise includes Sage Intacct implementations, ERP modernization, AI and automation incorporation into implementation strategies, process mapping and requirements definition, systems integration, change management and KPI reporting. With a focus on the construction, real estate and not-for-profit industries, Perkins has overseen projects ranging from straightforward configurations to complex, multi-entity implementations end-to-end. Her scope of services includes requirements and design through go-live and adoption with an emphasis on successful change management.

Her experience with ERP modernization, automation and emerging AI capabilities will strengthen our ability to deliver scalable, insight-driven solutions to our clients through our new Sage Intacct practice.”

Perkins previously served as director of technology consulting for a Top 10 firm, where she led Sage Intacct implementations for construction, real estate, and not-for-profit clients. She has also held senior operations and finance roles building infrastructure to support significant company growth, including leading numerous ERP migrations and system modernization initiatives.

Perkins earned a B.A. in business administration from Gordon College. She is Sage Intacct Certified, Sage Intacct Construction certified, HubSpot certified and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
