David Parker joined Lazard‘s Middle Market Advisory practice as a managing director in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology Group. He will be based out of New York.
Parker has more than two decades of experience in the telecom industry, primarily in communications and broadband infrastructure.
Before joining Lazard, Parker was a managing director and head of Communications, Internet and Media mergers and acquisitions at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Prior to that, he spent eight years as a managing director in the Communications, Media and Entertainment group at RBC Capital Markets, specializing in diversified telecom and communications infrastructure companies.
Previously, he was a partner at Daniels & Associates until its acquisition by RBC in 2007. During his 18 years at RBC and Daniels, Parker led a top-ranked investment banking team for mergers and acquisitions in the fiber infrastructure sector. He was also a financial analyst at Security Capital Industrial Trust and an aide for a U.S. Senator.
