Northstar Provides Subordinated Debt for Recap of Consolidated Label and Online Labels

Northstar Capital, a provider of junior capital for middle market private equity transactions, partnered with Tenex Capital Management in its recapitalization and merger of Consolidated Label and Online Labels. Northstar provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment to help Tenex finance the deal.

Headquartered in Sanford, FL, Consolidated Label and Online Labels provides custom printed pressure sensitive, shrink sleeve, flexible packaging and blank labels on sheets and rolls to small businesses, consumers and middle market brands via enterprise relationships and a direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform. The company will continue to be led by Dave and Joel Carmany as CEO and president, respectively.

Northstar Capital is an investment management company with offices in Minneapolis and Fargo, ND. Northstar specializes in junior capital investments and equity co-investments in middle-market companies. Since inception, Northstar has partnered with more than 140 companies and raised nearly $2 billion in capital.
