Julia Gavrilov, counsel in the Garden City, NJ, office of Moritt Hock & Hamroff, was chosen as a recipient of the 2020 Secured Finance Network‘s 40 Under 40 Awards. The global award recognizes rising stars in the secured finance industry.

“We couldn’t be more pleased that Julia was named as a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by SFNet,” Marc Hamroff, managing partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff, said. “Julia was originally trained as a creditors rights’ litigator, and transitioned those skills into the new business side of finance transactions. She is an exceptional attorney known for the valuable skills that she provides to our clients as well as for her leadership within the secured finance sector. We look forward to her continued growth and success.”

Gavrilov focuses her practice in equipment leasing and finance, secured lending and all areas of complex commercial litigation. Gavrilov is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), where she serves on its service providers business council steering committee as well as on the research committee of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation. Earlier this year, SFNet also recognized Gavrilov as one of its Top Women In Commercial Finance for 2020.

Moritt Hock & Hamroff is a law firm with offices in Manhattan, NY, and on Long Island, NY.
