Moritt Hock & Hamroff Continues Its Florida Growth By Adding Two New Attorneys

Moritt Hock & Hamroff strengthened its Florida presence by bringing on seasoned litigators Joseph F. Poklemba and Steven M. Bimston to bolster key practice areas.

GARDEN CITY, NY, March 24, 2025 – Moritt Hock & Hamroff announced today the addition of two new attorneys to its Florida office, illustrating the firm’s continued commitment to growth in southeast Florida. Joseph F. Poklemba joins the firm’s Litigation Practice Group as Senior Counsel and Steven M. Bimston joins the firm’s Litigation and Creditors’ Rights, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice Groups as Counsel.

“We are extremely pleased to add Joseph and Steven to the growing team of attorneys in our Florida office,” said Michael Cardello III, Managing Partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff. “Both Joseph and Steven are expected to make an immediate positive impact on two of our key practice areas through their proven skills and experience.”

“Our expansion in Florida has proven to be an important part of our continued growth,” said Marc Hamroff, Chairman. “The addition of Joseph and Steven further strengthens some of our core practice areas and perfectly aligns with our mission to further service our evolving clients’ needs in southeast Florida and beyond.”

Joseph F. Poklemba has more than 30 years of experience representing individuals and corporate entities in a wide variety of commercial litigation, construction litigation, banking and real estate litigation matters. The scope of his practice is diversified and includes the representation of individuals and businesses on a wide range of commercial/business litigation matters in state and federal courts.

Steven M. Bimston concentrates his practice in all facets of commercial litigation-related matters with a primary focus on complex commercial and real estate litigation. Mr. Bimston also represents secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy matters including contested matters, adversary proceedings, lessor disputes and evidentiary hearings.
