Monterey Financial Services (MFS), a company in the consumer receivables industry, is celebrating its 35th anniversary. MFS remains committed to its mission: to empower businesses with the ability to optimize their sales through financing while maximizing growth and cash recovery.

“It’s an honor to lead a company that has stood the test of time,” Kevin Weiss, CEO of MFS, said. “That track record is indicative of the strength and resilience of the company, which mirrors the strength and resilience of the team. I am excited to build on this strong foundation, while enhancing our technology capabilities to simplify and improve our customers’ experiences. We also remain committed to being a force for good and a contributor to the communities we serve.”

MFS has been honored with numerous industry recognitions. Most recently, MFS was nominated for two distinguished awards at the 2025 GNEX Conference in Las Vegas—Best Strategic Partner and Best Place to Work—and has been named a Best Places to Work in Collections by ACA International and Best Companies Group for many consecutive years. Over the last three years, MFS has ranked among San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to Work.
