CohnReznick, a professional services firm, added Kevin McIntyre as a partner in the assurance practice. Based in Chicago, McIntyre will support private-equity backed companies and other businesses in the region, primarily those in the manufacturing and distribution, technology and consumer industries.
With more than 15 years of experience providing accounting, audit and business advisory services to international and domestic, middle-market portfolio companies, his expertise includes working with businesses throughout their life cycles, helping them navigate complex accounting issues in areas including revenue recognition, debt and equity arrangements, and M&A transactions.
McIntyre will play a similar role at CohnReznick as the firm continues to grow its M&D, consumer and technology industry practices in Chicago and extend its presence in the Midwest. Earlier this year, CohnReznick expanded its Midwest footprint with the strategic acquisition of Minnesota-based Smith Schafer & Associates.

McIntyre earned a B.S. in accountancy from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. in business administration, finance and economics from the University of Louisville.
