Legacy Corporate Lending, an independent asset-based lending (ABL) company focused on serving the needs of middle market companies across North America, appointed Karla Gorgij as executive vice president, portfolio and underwriting. In her role, Gorgij will be primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of client relationships where she will work closely with borrowers to support their ongoing financing needs and deliver exceptional service throughout the life of each credit facility.

Gorgij brings more than 20 years of experience in asset-based lending, with expertise spanning portfolio management, underwriting, compliance and credit administration. Most recently, she was an underwriter and portfolio manager at Austin Financial Services. Prior to that, she was a relationship manager at Wells Fargo Capital Finance (formerly Foothill Capital).

“Karla’s extensive asset-based lending experience spanning both underwriting and portfolio management makes her an outstanding addition to our team,” Ben W. Silver, head of portfolio and operations at Legacy, said. “Her experience managing complex credit relationships and her thoughtful, collaborative approach aligns well with Legacy’s commitment to delivering responsive financing solutions to middle market companies.”

Gorgij added, “I’m excited to join Legacy and be part of a team that is committed to providing flexible financing solutions and exceptional service to its clients. I look forward to working alongside the talented professionals at Legacy to build strong client relationships and support the continued growth of the platform.”
